A stunning Persian Mahal rug, woven during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950). This rug features an intricate floral motif in bright blues, reds and browns over a dark blue field. The reds in the border and center medallion create a graphic effect, lending it a bold look. In great condition, as pictured. As mahals most often come in large room sizes, it is uncommon to find them in smaller sizes.
