This pastel colored Senneh dates from the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950) and was woven in Western Iran. It features patterning in soft pink and indigo blue. Varying shades of red and orange act as accent colors, lending the rug a cheery quality. The two geometric medallions are encapsulated by blooming flowers in both the field and main border. Note the lovely abrash in the upper third of the rug. In good condition, with minor wear and some areas that have been repaired (pictured).
