This Persian Serab rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the twentieth century (1925-1950) in Western Iran. Recognizable from it's weave and distinctive camel field, this rug also features bright reds and deep indigo blues. There is a subtle variation in patterning from the edge borders to the side borders giving this rug a distinct quality. In good condition, with some signs of wear or worn areas, and edges have been reinforced to prolong use.
