Learn to weave a mini woven wall hanging at Heirloom!
In this 2 1/2 hour in-person workshop, students will learn the basics of tapestry weaving from drafting a design, to sourcing/selecting materials, to setting up your loom and learning a variety of weaving techniques, then putting the finishing touches on your piece.
You will leave this class with the skills to complete your own wall hanging or “woven drawing” to continue creating one-of-a-kind woven works in your own time. Students will take home weaving materials, including a frame loom, to continue their weaving practice.
