This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in Southern Iran during the 21st century.
It features a hollow rectangle constructed of blocks of forest green, turquoise, and sage and is decorated with abstracted animals and vegetation in accent tones of red, white, and yellow. The whole is framed by an undyed natural field in a taupe -gray. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The rug is in excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
