Highline Hotel – New York, NY
The Highline Hotel is a 19th century Seminary converted into a 60 room boutique hotel in Manhattan's Chelsea. This project sourced 100+ vintage and antique rugs from Heirloom. Rugs were featured in the lobby, conference rooms and as the signature item in each room. We also created custom rugs from large vintage pieces for staircases and to inset within the building's original mosaic. As an integral part of the hotel's branding a "reserve" of additional twenty rugs was set aside for use during special events.
Hotel Peter and Paul – New Orleans, LA
Hotel Peter and Paul is a 71 room hotel in New Orlean’s Faubourg Marigny neighborhood. Renovated from a vagant Catholic church and school, this property was completely renovated in 2019 by ASH NYC.
The Eliza Jane – New Orleans, LA
The Eliza Jane is a 196 room hotel in New Orlean’s Central Business District nestled between the French Quarter and Arts District. Housed in 19th century building which was the former home of “The Daily Picayune” and named for it’s first female publisher. This property was completely renovated in 2018 by Stonehill & Taylor and includes ten rugs including multiple oversize pieces.
Scribner's Catskill Lodge – Hunter, NY
Scribner's Catskill Lodge is a 38 room property in Hunter, NY. Originally founded in the 1960’s, Brooklyn design firm Studio Tack undertook a drastic transformation in late 2016. Heirloom provided large area rugs for all the common areas as well as some smaller pieces for the guest rooms.
The Dean – Providence, RI
The Dean Hotel is 52 room boutique hotel that is spearheading the renaissance in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. This project sourced 60+ vintage and antique rugs from Heirloom. In addition to the rugs showcased in each room, five large rugs were "deconstructed" to interact with contemporary art created by a local artist on each floor.
Swift & Sons – Chicago, IL
Swift & Sons is a 10,000 square foot Steakhouse in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood and is part of the Boka restaurant group empire. World renowned design firm AvroKO sourced six custom overdye patchwork rugs from Heirloom with sizes ranging from 6'6 x 20'5 to 11'5 x 20 to help ground the "retro future" aesthetic. It was named one of the Hottest new steakhouses in the US by Zagat and Chicago's Best New Steakhouse by Time Out.
