This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in Southern Iran during the 21st century.
It features a simple field broken down into four distinctive regions with subtle differences within each quadrant. The top quadrant is mostly a sparse and creamy undyed wool. The next two quadrants feature a variety of tiny diamonds, dots and other symbols in red, green orange and yellow scattered throughout a mixed tone undyed wool. The last quadrant gradually transitions into a rich solid wine tone. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The condition is excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
