This rug was woven in Karabagh during the early 20th century.
It features rows of cabbage roses or "gul farang" in french blue, ivory, and soft pink with green and yellow leaves on a purply-pink cochineal field. The whole is framed by a rosette and abstracted polygon shape leaf border motif.
In very good condition. The rug has been reduced and was originally longer.
