This Navajo rug was handwoven in the southwest United States in the middle of the 20th century.  It features a repeating sunburst pattern in brown, red, and gray on an ivory ground. The pattern features two horizontal bands of solid red and brown in the interior and is finished with solid horizontal bands of gray, brown, and ivory on both ends.
