This ANtique Wolf Hooked Rug features a depiction of what appears to be a wolf howling at the sun in its central cartouche. This central is encapsulated by blocks of various colors in an array of shapes pieced together in a lovely mosaic. The fading has made it difficult to differentiate the ground from the sky in the central cartouche.

19th century Persian Yazd roomsize rug featuring an intricate curvilinear central medallion on a scalloped maroon field. With a well-balanced palette of cool blues, rosy pinks, and sandy beiges with gold, green, and navy. Framed by a thin more geometric border. Considerably worn into the underlying white cotton foundation. Foundation has been reinforced but not woven over to maintain its worn-in look and heavenly appearance in a structurally sound manner.

This Talish runner was handwoven during the late 19th century in the Caucasus. It features narrow field of rows of shrubs on a rare and desirable yellow ground. The shrubs are laid out in diagonal columns which are rendered in rich reds and blues and green jewel tones. It is framed by a wide main border of both small and geometric rosettes on a chocolate ground.
