This Hamadan rug was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century in Western Iran.
It features a central medallion flanked by a variation of the Herati design and four cornices featuring partial rosettes. Framed by a yellow ground inner border of polychrome "S"s flanked by two other borders comprised of diagonal blocks of color.
In very good condition with a dense pile. Would make a nice entry rug.
