The composition is framed by an electric Laleh abbasi border with zig-zag edges. The open space of the squares plays well off the tight patterning of the grid and borders and accentuates the expressive nature of the weaving.

This Antique Navajo Rug features features a series of concentric diamonds in dark brown and ivory on a mottled gray background.
