Antique Qashqa'i kilim featuring a simplified garden design comprised of a grid of squares in big blocks of patinated greens, reds, and yellows. Each block contains various protection symbols. The composition is framed by an electric Laleh abbasi border with zig-zag edges. The open space of the squares plays well off the tight patterning of the grid and borders and accentuates the expressive nature of the weaving.

Contemporary Turkish kilim featuring columns of stacked hourglass figures in red, blue, yellow, green, gray, and light and dark brown on a bright ivory ground. This Antique Navajo Rug features features a series of concentric diamonds in dark brown and ivory on a mottled gray background. The grey background was achieved by spinning different colors of undyed wool together. In each area where the color changes are serrated edges which give the whole composition a blurred eye-dazzling effect.
