This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in Southern Iran during the 21st century.
This hard to come by square rug features a striped field comprised of different shades of undyed natural wool. A beautiful homage to the wool used in these pieces with a very organic feel like looking at the detail of the grain in a piece of wood. Both the lighter and darker wools are also used in the subtle barber pole edging of the rug. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The condition is excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
