This kilim was woven in Turkey during the 21st century.
It features rows of free-flowing wavy lines in tones of ivory, gray and various shades of brown. It is woven of undyed handspun wool that has been separated into various natural tones and woven in blocks. The organic flow of the lines are reminiscent of natural patterns found on the grain of wood or an animal pelt. Made in a manner uncommon for modern production, this is sure to be well crafted for future generations. A small but impactful piece.
In excellent unused condition. Flatwoven with some heft giving it durability.
