This rug was handwoven by the Kurdish weavers of Kolyai during the middle of the 20th century.
It features an all over design of abstracted floral motifs. It is in an uncommon and perfectly patinated palette of terracotta, aubergine, watermelon, teal and charcoal. With an enduring elegance that makes it equally suited for both eclectic interiors or more classic settings.
In very good condition with minimal wear for it's age. Densely woven and durable with multiple strong selvedges.
