This Pre-Columbian textile fragment dates to the Wari period (circa 600–1000 AD).

It features a striking row of anthropomorphic head motifs with dramatic black wool tufts, likely once serving as the decorative fringe of an elite garment or ceremonial textile. The figures, worked in shades of cochineal red, green, gold, and deep indigo, are a hallmark of Wari iconography and exhibit the sophisticated interlinking knit structure that this Andean culture pioneered.
