This stunning Sivas rug was handwoven in Central Anatolia during the early 20th century. 

It features an elaborate and geometric mosaic of rosettes, stars, and latticework that is more commonly associated with architecture and bookbinding. It is contained within the perfectly reconciled main border of meandering vegetal forms. 

In very good condition, with strong abrash. Various properly done repairs including the ends
