This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in India. It features an idiosyncratic pattern of wonky interconnected diamonds on a ground of alternating stripes in different widths and colors and full of various small diamond shapes. The diamond lattice is outlined in a thick white band flanked by smaller back and green bands and appears to float above the polychrome striped ground that alternates between vibrant tones red, green and watermelon and calmer tones of pale yellow and sand.

This Three Elephant Kantha features a main panel with a central flower surrounded by organic flowering vines and free-flowing running stitches. The bottom panel has a lovely rendition of three elephants. Elephants are a very auspicious and potent symbol in local culture. They represent wisdom and strength as well as having regal and divine connotations dependent on the intention of the artisan.

This Durga & Kali Nakshi Kantha features a representation of Kali the Hindu goddess of power, time, change, creation, and destruction. Durga has transformed into Kali who has gone on a rampage destroying the universe. She is seen holding the decapitated head of Mahishasura while those around her calm her including Shiva who is underfoot.

19th century Indian Jail dhurrie featuring a series rows of deep navy and bright white stripes which feather at each end in the central panel. Two skirt panels feature smaller alternating white and navy stripes broken up by two bright indigo blocks. These rugs were part of prison reform beginning in 19th century India.

This Mid Century Indian Round Rug features a simple color palette of ivory, sage, gold, and a rich blue/green. A solid central circle is encapsulated by a second circle of wavy lanes and a final circle of petal-like ornamentation.
