The four large medallions are fully formed and dramatic. The design plays with positive and negative space in a sophisticated and subtle manner The whole is framed by the main border of floral bouquets and six minor borders, composed of varied sprigs and meanders.

This Antique Lori Rug features a connected column of lively stepped diamonds rendered in a handsome navy. The solid navy column is unadorned and stands out against a backdrop containing big blocks of vibrant yellow, red and softer indigo that contain abstracted boteh or bird-like figures.
