This tapestry was handwoven in Peruvian Andes during the 20th century
It features three concentric diamonds with a "+" center and is framed by a plain burnt orange border. The tones are an unexpected combination of various purples and greens with red, orange, and turquoise which create a vibrant contrast in a little rug full of personality. The colors and style suggest it was woven in the Ayacucho region. Very soft and lightweight, can double as a multifunctional textile or wall tapestry.
In very good condition, with some light wear near the edges
