It is simple and straightforward yet still striking in its warmth and beauty. This bag face was woven by the Jaff Kurds of the Northern and Central Zagros mountains in Wester Iran during the late 19th century. It features the classic Jaff interlocking diamond pattern in bright, cheerful colors. It is framed on three sides by a fun and wonky laleh abbasi border in black and red that becomes black triangles on a red ground before shifting back to laleh abbasi but with the colors reversed. The fourth side features red and white circles on an indigo ground.

This sumptuous Deco rug features a detailed naturalistic design of two distinct blossoming branches on a black ground. The eye-catching design features peonies, chrysanthemums, fruit blossoms among flowers rendered in greens, orange, pink, blue and purple. The flowers really pop against the true black ground.
