This Coptic textile was woven in Egypt or the Levant in the 6th century AD.
It features what appear to be two fragments. One with interlocking diamonds in blue, green, yellow and white and the other with a banded border with blocks of red and green on a yellow and soft peachy pink ground.
In good condition considering its significant age. The fragment has been mounted to a fabric and framed to better display and secure the piece.
