Alone in Alexandria is a woven tapestry completed by Mary-Ann Sievert in 2020.

From Mary-Ann: When the world was confronted with the Covid pandemic in 2020, I felt compelled to create something that could bring some kind of positive energy and relief in the midst of such horror. With its ancient history in Egyptian religion and history, often as an amulet, the scarab became a kind of talisman and hope for a world in desperate need of healing.
