This Yellow Shirvan Runner features lattice-filled eight-pointed stars on a rare and desirable yellow ground. The stars are laid out in diagonal columns which are rendered in rich reds and blues and green jewel tones. It is framed by a main border of both small and large Talish rosettes on a salmon ground with an inner border of carnations and an outer laleh abbasi guard border in contrasting tones of turquoise and chocolate.

This Shirvan runner was handwoven during the late 19th century in the Caucasus.

It features lattice-filled eight-pointed stars on a rare and desirable yellow ground. The stars are laid out in diagonal columns which are rendered in rich reds and blues and green jewel tones. It is framed by a main border of both small and large Talish rosettes on a salmon ground with an inner border of carnations and an outer laleh abbasi guard border in contrasting tones of turquoise and chocolate.

It very good condition, with Some old but properly executed repairs and a few small worn areas with visible foundation.
