This hook rug was handmade during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950) in the Northeastern United States.
Features a checkerboard pattern with each square made up of vertical stripes. Many colors can be found in this piece due to the use of recycled fabric, but it reads as grey and black overall.
In good condition, wear is consistent with age with a few repair patches.
