An exceptional example of the Seychour tradition, this runner stands out for the clarity of its drawing, crisp geometry, and refined palette. A tightly organized lattice of abstracted floral forms runs the full length of the field, each element articulated with precision and rhythm that feels both deliberate and energetic.
The navy ground and golden-yellow lattice provide depth and contrast for a vibrant interplay of coral, brick red, ivory, soft blue, and touches of green. The motifs are sharply defined, creating a surface that feels animated and balanced rather than busy. The borders are particularly strong, composed of multiple bands of floral and geometric patterns that frame the field with confidence and visual weight.
A top example of its type that is architectural, energetic, and deeply rooted in the Caucasian weaving tradition. Ideal for collectors or for anchoring a long corridor with color and authority.
In very good condition, with original macramé end finishes. There is wear to sections of the selvedge, which could be remedied, but has been left untouched as the intact areas are original and fantastic.
