This Baluch rug was handwoven during the late 20th century in Afghanistan.
It features four black latch-hooked medallions surrounded by wavy latch-hooked lines on a vibrant ground with sparse rosettes in lively turquoise, pink, orange, and ivory. The ivory is woven utilizing a bright cotton which really pops. There are bright ivory moments in the main border and as well a consistent ivory diamond pattern through the minor borders that kick up the energy level.
