This rug was handwoven in Afghanistan at the turn of the 21st Century.
It features an all-over design of curling arabesques and energetic rosettes in creamy khaki and reddish rust dancing on a deep navy ground. The pattern is more commonly associated with mahal rugs. The rug has uneven coloring in places but flows with the design.
In Good condition with some color runs and a supple handle. The rug is priced to account for the color run.
