This handwoven Gabbeh was woven in Southern Iran during the 21st century.
It features a directional scene of a large central tree with sparse vegetation and animal life in the foreground. The composition is rendered is red, yellow and white against a deep undulating blue backdrop which is unframed. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The condition is excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
