A bright contemporary Oaxacan flatwoven rug by Zapotec weavers from Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca. The design features a bold red field with a central stepped diamond medallion, flanked by arrow and diamond borders in blue, yellow, green, turquoise, orange, and red.
Handwoven in wool on a cotton foundation, the rug reflects the strong geometric vocabulary associated with Teotitlán weaving traditions while maintaining a fresh, contemporary palette. The corner mark visible in the blue end panel is the weaver’s workshop mark.
