This rug was handwoven by the Beni Ourain in the middle Atlas mountains of Morocco. It was woven during the third quarter of the 20th century (1950-1975). It features a dense pile of undyed shaggy wool with a subtle brown criss-cross pattern, visible from the back and hinted at from the front. Very plush, it is perfect for a cozy living space. In excellent condition with full pile and original braided ends.
