This Gabbeh rug was handwoven in during the 21st century.
It features a thick central rectangle of various flora and fauna in various shades of undyed wool on a cream backdrop. The central rectangle is flanked by two strips of totemic squares, each filled with either an animal or vegetal motif. The top and bottom are framed in a brown interlaced band. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The rug is in excellent unused condition, with no signs of wear.
