This antique hooked rug was crafted during the first quarter of the 20th century in the Northeastern United States.
The color palette is multicolored, with an overall warm tone. The pattern is a variation of the classic log cabin design rendered in a way which it is reminiscent of the scales of a fish and that gives the piece added dimensionality. A thin dark brown border frames the whole.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Hard to find large square size.
