This Armenian runner was likely woven in Northwest Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It is composed of a repeating pattern of soft pink and khaki roses on an inky black field. The roses were once a more saturated pinkish-red color, which has mostly faded to a golden brown. There is a tag on back which says "Made in Persia".
In good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Pile is low with a soft handle.
