This Gabbeh rug was handwoven during the 21st century.
It features a stylized lion form on an undyed gray wool backdrop. It is composed of various polychrome vertical stripes and a squared yellow head to create a fun and fantastic abstraction of the classic lion motif. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
The condition is excellent. In unused condition, with no signs of wear.
