This kilim was handwoven in the middle of the 20th century around the city of Shiraz in South Iran.
This brown, white, and blue kilim feature a design of four vertical diamonds, with concentric zig-zag lines. Shapes and symbols fill in the negative space on the camel field. The border continues the diamond motif with small diamonds in shades of brown on a deep blue ground.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a hefty handle. The original fringed ends are still intact. Very thickly woven, perfect for high-traffic areas.
