This kilim was handwoven during the fourth quarter of the 20th century (1975-2000) in the city of Shiraz in southwest Iran. It features an all over design of symmetrical hexagons in ivory, brown, and sage atop a beautiful nantucket red ground. Multiple borders surround the central area filled with different geometric shapes including triangles and a reciprocating pawn guard border. A great way to add some colorful geometric fun to any room. Wear is consistent with age.
