Handwoven Peruvian weaver's kilim woven in two strips and seamed in the center. It features fantastical shapes of caterpillars, butterflies, and spiders in soft purples, browns, and greens. Perhaps referencing birth, life, and death. Very soft and lightweight, can double as a multifunctional textile or wall tapestry. Notice the weaver's signature - Oncebay - in the left-hand corner. The Oncebays are a multigenerational family of weavers still operating today. In very good condition, with two holes, as pictured.
Measures 4'1" x 4'1"
