This Navajo rug was handwoven in the southwest United States during the middle of the 20th century.

It features a repeat pattern of jagged diagonal stripes in red, ivory and purplish-gray. Finished with a thin band of ivory and gray on the top and bottom. An energetic little piece pulsating with energy. 

In very good condition, some color run from the red into the ivory. Flatwoven, with a soft handle.
