This prayer rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in central Anatolia. It features a latch hooked mihrab woven with soft golden wool, on a faded purple silver field. The main border features a geometric flower pattern in oranges and browns. In very good condition, with some wear, consistent with age. Edges and sides have been reinforced for longevity. Pile is low and soft. Perfect as a bedside rug or even on the wall.
