Handmade wool flatwoven rug with a stunning bright yellow rectangle atop a light grey field.
As the yellow fades from slightly darker to lighter along the length of the rug, so does the grey field. An overall shift from dark to light moves your eye from the top to the bottom of the piece in a subtle way. Two dark grey bars are found near the bottom to break up the ombre. The yellow is naturally dyed with weld and marigold while the grey is naturally dyed with logwood, tannin, and iron. Handmade and naturally dyed in 2019 in Brooklyn, NY.
