This kilim was woven in the Caucasus during the late 19th century.  It features a field of stepped polygons and small diamonds in various shades of red and blue on a bright ivory ground. The pattern can be viewed in multiple way and the navy diamonds also form a central diamond. The ivory field is framed by jagged purple zigzags on the sides and polychrome triangles

This kilim was woven in the Caucasus during the late 19th century.  It features a field of stepped polygons and small diamonds in various shades of red and blue on a bright ivory ground. The pattern can be viewed multiple way and the navy diamonds also form a central diamond. The ivory field is framed by jagged purple zigzags on the sides and polychrome triangles on the top and bottom and finished with thick bands of blue and red.  May have been made as one side of a saddle bag. A small but impactful piece.

This bag face was woven by the Jaff Kurds of the Northern and Central Zagros mountains in Wester Iran during the late 19th century.  It features the classic Jaff interlocking diamond pattern in bright, cheerful colors. It is framed on three sides by a fun and wonky laleh abbasi border in black and red that becomes black triangles on a red ground before shifting back to laleh abbasi but with the colors reversed. The fourth side features red and white circles on an indigo ground.

Late 19th century Indian Amritsar rug featuring an elegant all-over design of palmettes, detailed blossoming vines, and groupings of curled leaves on a rich crimson ground. The crimson tone utilizes lac which is a dye derived from insects and characteristic of Northern India weaving from both Amritsar and Agra. With accents of gold, wheat, ivory, and pink. The whole is framed by a spectacular turquoise with a wonderful, undulating abrash that even has some moments of soft purple.

19th century small Mongolian rug depicting a natural scene primarily of a variety of animals among trees and stones. Among the animals, deer, bats, goats and a pig can be found. The stones have the appearance of scholars' stones and are rendered in a lovely combination of blues, purples, and browns. Four eternal knots can be found in each corner.
