A refined and authoritative example of 1920s Sarouk weaving, well suited to anchoring a room with both elegance and visual richness. It features a dense, symmetrical arrangement of scrolling vines, palmettes, and floral sprays organized around a clearly articulated yet well-blended central medallion. The composition is balanced and expansive, with a sense of movement that carries easily across the larger scale without becoming heavy or overcrowded.

The palette is classic Sarouk with deep madder reds enlivened by indigo and midnight-blue outlines, and accents of soft gold, ivory, and pale turquoise lending contrast and depth. The drawing is crisp yet fluid, with motifs that feel carefully controlled while retaining a natural, hand-drawn vitality. Strong borders frame the field with rhythmic floral elements that reinforce the rug’s overall clarity and presence.

In very good condition, with lustrous wool and a supple handle.
