This Tekke Turkmen rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century in Turkmenistan. The field features a grid of rounded main guls in various shades of brown, tan, bone and wheat on faded copper tone ground. The space between the grid is filled with rows of cruciform shaped secondary guls. It is encapsulated by a border of rams head filled octagons and finished with skirts of latch-hooked zigzags.

This Suzani was handmade during the early 20th century in Uzbekistan. This suzani is composed of central floral motif embroidered in silk on an open red cotton field. A multitude of colors are used for the embroidery, including turqoise, green, white, yellow, and purple.
