Beautifully layered with haphazard spontaneity and free-flowing shifts in scale and rhythm yet still cohesive and engaging like well-improvised Jazz. It features captivating reds, soft blues, yellows, purplish-brown and bright ivory on a rare greenish-blue ground. The whole is framed by a stark white border characteristic of the type and which brightens the composition.

This rug is in very good condition with the original end kilims still intact. The ends showcase (or rather, showoff) a well-executed weft float technique and the beautiful tones used.
