This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th Century.
It features a multilayered central medallion on a faded magenta ground. A graphic rendering with an uncommon palette that also features tones of burnt orange, purplish gray, copper, and crimson. Framed by a meandering vine and rosettes, the main border and is finished with a skirt border on both ends.
In excellent condition for its age. It features a loose but heavy handle of plush wool.
