This Turkish rug is woven in western Anatolia during the second quarter of the 20th Century.  This rug features two stepped diamond devices atop vast rasberry red ground with various half and quarter medallions along the perimeter in purple, orange and yellow. Framed by a main border that alternates between large palmettes and bouquets of smaller 8 pointed rosettes and various minor borders including diagonal stripes, tulips and interlocking combs.

In Good condition in a low but full pile with some light staining (as pictured) which blends in well with various undulated moments of abrash throughout the rug.
