This Baluch rug was handwoven in Afghanistan during the first quarter of the 20th century.
This rug features a tight lattice design in earthy reds, browns, turquoise and, apricots. Wide in the center but narrower on the top and bottom giving it a wonky charm. Finished with skirts of multicolor banded kilim on top and bottom.
In good condition, with wear and some fraying on the original ends and sides. Low pile, with a light handle.
