This Art Deco rug was handwoven in Tientsin, China during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This Deco rug features various blossoming flowers arranged in an oval garland atop a sumptuous paprika ground. The eye-catching design features peonies, chrysanthemums, and fruit blossoms among flowers rendered in greens, yellows, pinks, and purples that really pop.
In very good condition for its age with some very minor color variation. Pile is medium height, soft and plush, with a dense and heavy handle.
