This Gabbeh rug was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century.
It features alternating stepped rows of polychrome squares that travel on the diagonal creating a geometric rainbow effect. With a main border of light and dark boteh on a wonderful green ground framed by minor borders of alternating "u"s on a vibrant red ground. Great ~5 x 8 size that is hard to come by for this type.
The condition is very good with with a dense and plush pile.
